Abstract

The accuracy of flight time schedules (on time performance) is one of the main products of scheduled air transport service companies that can be one of the benchmarks of the performance of air transport service companies in improving competitiveness. Flight delays generally occur due to certain factors that influence. The study was conducted at Yogyakarta Adisutjipto International Airport and the research time during the time specified for the method used in the research in this thesis is the Fishbone Diagram on the analysis of on time performance at Yogyakarta Adisutjipto International Airport. The results of this study are expected to provide a comprehensive and systematic picture of the identification and optimization of on time performance of departures for the airlines concerned The causes of late departure and arrival are dominated by factors in the environmental and commercial categories of 59% (Environment 33% and Commercial 26%) and sub-factors Accessibility to Airport, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Millitary training, Technical interruption of aircraft, Rotation of 48% with the percentage of each as follows: Accessibility to Airport 12%, Ground Support Equipment (GSE) 11%, Millitary training 9%, Technical interruption of aircraft 8%, Rotation 8%. Percentage of on time performance of airlines that were researched at Yogyakarta Adisutjipto International Airport in September 2018: Lion Air Airlines (Arrival: 45%, Departure: 28%), Batik Air Airlines (Arrival: 59%, Departure: 61%), Airline Wings Air (Arrival: 35%, Departure:37%).
