Abstract

Users of air transportation will choose the fastest, most accurate, safe, and comfortable flight. Semarang Achmad Yani International Airport currently has 12 parking stands with 17 hours of operation every day. In this thesis the writer analyzes the use of existing time slots to optimize the parking stand at the Achmad Yani International Airport Semarang. To optimize the parking stand, the first step that needs to be done is to find the average ground time for each type of aircraft, then the second step is to analyze the average ground time to get the slot time optimization. Then these steps are combined with the calculation of the parking stand capacity of Achmad Yani International Airport Semarang within 17 hours of airport operation. The analysis results obtained real ground time 39 minutes, the slot used for 1 hour of airport operation an average of 11 slots per hour, after optimized slots used for 1 hour of airport operation an average of 13 slots per hour. The capacity of the parking stand in its current state can contain 204 aircraft, while after optimization it can load 228 aircraft. The author considers that the optimization of the parking stand should be used to increase the number of passengers transported and level the air traffic density in order to meet the demands of airlines who want to increase flight schedules and of course also save the budget for not expanding the apron if in the future there is an increase in the number of flight frequencies in the future.
