Abstract

On time performance is a crucial factor that needs to be considered and is the main product for airlines to maintain and improve operational activities. This study aims to determine the level of achievement of on time performance of Wings Air airlines at Umbu Mehang Kunda Airport and minimize flight delays for efforts to improve service quality. The data obtained were analyzed using fishbone diagrams and multiple linear regression analysis to determine what factors influence and how much influence they have on the number of delays at Wings Air airlines at Umbu Mehang Kunda Airport. The results of the study showed that the level of achievement of on time performance of Wings Air airlines was 83%, which has not met the standards set and cannot be considered good. From the analysis it is known that the delay category in IW1992 the most influential factor is the engine factor, while the management factor does not have much influence on the number of delays. And then for the delay category in IW 1885 the most influential factor is the environmental factor, while the management factor does not have much influence on the number of delays. And there also needs to be preventive measures and minimize flight delays to improve the achievement of on-time performance as a means of improving service quality.
