Abstract

Landing gear is one of the major parts of the aircraft. Landing gear have function to support the ground move (taxi), the take off and the landing. Certainly the most important part, landing gear would be have some trouble. Might be the system, the support component and might be the small other part. One the most common problem for landing gear is the actuator. Some how the actuator didn’t work as well. The way to fix this problem is to do the identifying, functional test, find the where the problem come from and do the troubleshoot. After the trouble can be found, we can make a conclusion that the actuator had leak out, so the hydraulic fluid flow out and can’t support the actuator. The actuator that need repair should be fix in the component division. If actuator can be repairing based on the AMM, the actuator can be installed again through. But if the actuator can’t be repairing based on the AMM, the actuator should be change with the serviceable one. After do the repairing/ maintenance to the actuator and didn’t found any other problem the aircraft can be decided to serviceable or can be use again
