Abstract
PT. Krisjaya Anugerah Sejahtera is a moving company in the field of Furniture. In the cinema chair production process there are many components which must be assembled. In the face of increasing business competition competitive, a company is required to create high productivity more increasing. One way to carry out the production process efficiency, namely by balancing the production path. The problem that still occurs in this company is line balance production that is not yet optimal. Cinema chair production line efficiency in conditions initial was 39.22%, total idle time was 6,777.7 seconds and balance delay of 60.77% with a total of 4 work stations. The low efficiency value, amount of idle time and balance delay reflects that there has been a path imbalance in the process production of cinema seats. The aim of this research is to determine trajectories optimal production and work stations using the Ranked method Positional Weight which can increase line efficiency up to 48% with total idle time dropping to 4,737.534 seconds, balance delay decreased to 51.77% and the number of work stations was reduced to 3 stations.
