Abstract
MMF (Merpati Maintenance Facility) Ltd is one of the aircraft maintenance companies in Indonesia which always attempt to have the most complete tools and the most effective and efficient aircraft maintenance. Manhours efficiency is one of the factors should be considered in running business. Manhours are the time needed to do a job where the time is a reference to be able carry out a job. The planner at Merpati Maintenance Facility Ltd recently designed manhours planning by multiplier the value of MPD (Maintenance Planning Document) with multiplier factor. This research is looking for a new multiplier that can be used to reduce the time of the TAT (Turn Arround Time) using the linear programming method. The multiplier factor is the unit value by the planner in finding the manhours. Linear programming is used to be able to find the derivative value of the multiplier that has been determined by the previous planner to be able to create a new multiplier factor value in making a manhours plan. In the result of this study the TAT (Turn Arround Time) to 3% and the manpower efficiency to 68,2%.
