Abstract

Oral health is vital to overall health and quality of life. One of the healthiest parts of the mouth is dental health. Dental health is becoming more important, especially for the development of children. One way to raise awareness about the importance of dental health for children is through educational media. A game isa medium that can be used to attract a player's interest in learning something that also attracts a learning interest. The method used in this multimedia development is the MDLC method. (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) The method has six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. (distribution). Tests are carried out in the form of alpha and beta tests on the Dentes Dental Clinic application to find errors that may arise from the control buttons and design. The implemented test is black box testing that focuses on the functional needs of the program, which are the compatibility of the output of the application with the input received by the application. The results of the research show that this Dentes Dental Clinic educational game can improve keeping your teeth healthy, can be used as an alternative medium for learning dental care, has an interesting appearance, and can be applied to the Android smartphone platform.
