Abstract

Damage to the skin fuselage is caused by 2 factors, the first is natural factors and the second is human factors who are not careful, such as the case that the author brought for the author's final project, the skin of an Airbus A320 aircraft belonging to Pakistan airlines with registration number AP-BLZ was damaged due to a collision. by stairs, causing cracks, therefore repairs must be made so that the crack does not widen. Before carrying out repairs, first inspect the location of damage caused by impact by stairs. The repair method is to cut the skin affected by the crack, then make repair parts, namely doublers and fillers which will later be installed at the location of the damage. Doubler making can be done in 2 ways, the first way is to transfer the hole skin to the plate to be made a doubler, and the second way is to transfer the hole using mica, then transfer the mica hole to the plate to be made a doubler.
