Abstract
CV. Triselaras Jaya has six mining sources that will help meet the demand for tin raw materials for its marketing area. Capacity which is produced by six mining sources owned by CV. Triselaras Jaya varies and the amount of demand for tin raw materials from consumers its continuously changing nature also contributes to increasing the risk problems with the company's smooth production and allocation of distribution channels optimal. This research aims to determine the optimal distribution pattern so you can minimize shipping costs and know the total costs transportation of tin raw materials CV. Triselaras victorious. Analysis and processing processes The data in this research was carried out by selecting a transportation method, namely Vam Method, Least Cost Method and Nwc Method and optimality of use WIN QSB application help. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be seen that Comparison of the three methods, namely the NWC method, costs as much as Rp. 8,92,887, the Least Cost method costs as much as Rp. 8.839530. and VAM, as much as 8,775,957. It turns out the VAM approach method can provide more optimal results, after knowing the comparison costs From the third method, it was found that the VAM method had the smallest cost therefore the VAM method was chosen as the method used by the company distribution savings, after knowing the smallest costs later VAM method optimality measurements are carried out using the MODI method with the help of the Win QSB application. The company incurred costs of Rp. 8,775,070. So that's what happened prove that calculations using the VAM method can be done minimize transportation costs for CV. Triselaras Jaya.
