Abstract
As an airline company, PT. Lion Air implements strategies in order to gain profits and keep operational costs as small as possible. One of the strategies implemented to reduce operational costs is by doing fuel tankering. The data obtained to calculate the number of fuel tankers in the form of data on the number of Trip Fuel and DOW (Dry Operating Weight). Then calculate the amount of Route Reserve, Block Fuel, and Remain Fuel. After getting the required amount of fuel, you can find the amount of Allowed Payload on a flight mission. The amount of Allowed Fuel Tankering can be calculated by the amount of Allowed Payload minus the number of passengers and baggage carried by each passenger. From the research conducted, it was found that the Allowed Tanker on the Yogyakarta - Makassar flight route was 1,995 Kg (flaps 1) and 865 Kg (flaps 5). 5). And the amount of Total Saving Cost on the Yogyakarta – Makassar flight route is Rp. 139,650 ( flaps 1 ) and Rp. 60,550 ( flaps 5).Total Saving Cost on the Makassar – Manado flight route is Rp. 438,750 ( flaps 1 ) and Rp. 309,750 ( flaps 5 ).
