Abstract

The difficulty of finding information about make-up services in Jogja makes it difficult for clients to find make-up services that match what they are looking for and want. This happens because there is not yet an appropriate method for finding recommendations for make-up services in Jogja. Therefore this study aims to build a website-based application to help process accurate data in searching for make-up service recommendations in Jogja. So we need a method to be applied to the application in recommending makeup services to suit. This application was built using the Vector Space Model (VSM) approach in case base reasoning to look for closeness in the input text with the cosine similarity approach so that it is obtained from testing 35 data with 10 new case trials with a similarity index of 70% and above as many as 7 sample questions with the highest percentage was 100% and the lowest percentage was 74.8% and the similarity level was below 70% for 3 sample questions with the highest percentage being 52% and the lowest percentage being 23%.
