Abstract
Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) is an unmanned aircraft that is smaller in size and range than Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) aircraft. MAV aircraft are usually used to conduct searches in disaster-affected areas with a smaller range capacity. The MAV aircraft studied is the MAV-01 platform which will determine the center of gravity and then conduct a flight test. To calculate the center of gravity and flight tests can be done using software or manual calculations. The calculation of the center of gravity aims to obtain a balance point before conducting a flight test. In the flight test, the distance traveled and flight duration will be obtained which will determine how tough the performance of the MAV-01 model aircraft being studied is. From the results of the mathematical analysis, it can be seen that the center of gravity is located at point 19.74797 cm from the zero nose of the X axis and 3.211382 cm from the leading edge of the Z axis. Meanwhile, in the flight test, the MAV-01 aircraft can cover 5,103.722 m in a time of 306.196 seconds.
