Abstract
Along with the development of technological progress, the Mini jet engine Mk.1 was developed which is a simplification of the gas turbine engine into a smaller size. This thesis is to determine the parameter values of two different types of compressors that will be used in the engine. In this compressor simulation, modeling and assembly are first carried out using CATIA V5R20 software and then the modeling results are imported into ANSYS 15.0 software to be simulated to determine the parameter values (pressure ratio, temperature ratio and velocity ratio) with variations in compressor rotation starting from 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%. From the results of the simulation data analysis, it can be concluded that in compressor_1: Pressure Ratio, at compressor speed 40% = 1.99090, 60% = 2.08598, 80% = 2.42977, 100% = 2.63002, Temperature Ratio, at compressor speed 40% = 1.21742, 60% = 1.23376, 80% = 1.28872, 100% = 1.31822 and Velocity Ratio at compressor speed 40% = 6.08078, 60% = 6.19099, 80% = 6.45924, 100% = 6.61829. Meanwhile, in the compressor type_2 the simulation data is: Pressure Ratio, at compressor speed 40% = 2.14774, 60% = 2.24847, 80% = 2.57480, 100% = 2.73213, Temperature Ratio, at compressor speed 40% = 1.24409, 60% = 1.26048, 80% = 1.31025, 100% = 1.33264 and Velocity Ratio at compressor speed 40% = 1.04086, 60% = 1.40770, 80% = 1.48950, 100% = 1.56653.
