Abstract

Frogs are one of the amphibian animals that spread widely covering almost all countries. Frogs are able to live a temperature range of 2-35 centigrade . Many frogs are attacked by diseases that cause the harvest to fall and cause losses to farmers. To overcome this problem it is necessary to know how to deal with the disease. But the problem is that not all breeders know the type and method of handling diseases that attack their livestock. Based on the existing problems, it is proposed that the design and construction of an expert system application with the CF method can help become an alternative way for frog farmers to increase knowledge of the symptoms and diseases that attack the frog. This expert system application can be run by selecting the symptoms experienced by the green frog, then the expert system will provide information regarding the name of the disease and how to cure it. Certainty Factor Calculation Method CF is the CF value on the rules that the evidence is connected by the operator AND then the formula is used to find the smallest value. The results of manual calculation testing with system calculations get the same results.
