Abstract

In 2017, PT Angkasa Pura I realized the construction of the New Yogyakarta International Airport NYIA in Kulon Progo. In fulfilling the non-visual approach to navigating the approach to the runway, an Instrument Landing System ILS is used to guide the aircraft when it is in the final approach stage to landing on the runway surface. Besides ILS, there is a visual aid in the form of light signals from landing lights, one of them is Approach Lighting System ALS. According to technical standards for placement of landing aids and airport lighting systems in order to operate optimally. Require equipment to be placed at a certain distance in accordance with applicable standards. This thesis discusses the position of placing ILS, ALS landing aids and lights on the runway. Described using Autocad software. Based on data from the new Yogyakarta International Airport facility. Using the Literature Study method from the Director General of Civil Aviation Regulation number KP 39 of 2015 and KP 2 of 2013. ILS and ALS used are category I in accordance with the operational runway category, namely Instrument Precision Category I. ILS components to be installed on runways 11 and 29 are localizers with a distance of 300 meters and Middle markers at a distance of 1050 meters to the outside of the threshold, Glide Path at a distance of 120 meters from the center line and 300 meters inward from the runway threshold. For ALS will be installed on runways 11 and 29 with a distance of 906 m before the threshold together with PAPI lights at a distance of 418,644 m from the threshold, and Runway threshold light and Runway end light as many as 21 units and Runway edge light as much as 102 units
