Abstract

Extended Range Operation with Twin Engine Airplane (ETOPS), which is the operation of an aircraft by extending the operational range of flights for two-engine aircraft. The addition of the aircraft's operational range is determined by the duration of the ETOPS rating. Every flight operator who will plan a flight with ETOPS must meet the requirements according to document AC 120-42 issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The En route Alternate Airport plays an important role in determining an ETOPS flight plan, including aircraft performance data before departure. Airports designated as En route alternate Airports must meet the requirements in terms of Runway, Minimum Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting, Minimum Instrument Approach Procedure, and hourly weather reporting (METARS). In planning the flight route from Cengkareng - Hanneda, the author analyzes using Plotting Chart, with an ETOPS rating duration of 138 minutes. From the analysis results, the total distance from Cengkareng - Hanneda is 3,157.5 Nm, with a fuel requirement of 72,906 kg and resulting in an Allowed load capacity of 64,650 kg.
