Abstract

CV. Cocon Asia is one of the companies engaged in the manufacturing industry, namely furniture, which produces various types of park benches. One important factor that needs to be considered is the problem of productivity. The current condition at CV. Cocon Asia is a problem, namely the company has never measured productivity on the production line, the company does not know the increase or decrease in productivity. Productivity assessment can be seen from the comparison of the company's input and output values, both in terms of materials, capital, labor and energy used. The productivity measurement method used is the Objective Matrix (OMAX) method. The steps for using the Objective Matrix (OMAX) method are: determining criteria, calculating ratios, measuring standard performance, determining final targets, calculating productivity criteria weights, calculating actual values, calculating actual scores, calculating performance values ​​and finally calculating overall productivity. After knowing the level or index of productivity of the company itself, the company's leadership will try to evaluate the conditions in which there is a decline in productivity, so that it will be able to increase the company's productivity in the future. Based on research that has been conducted at CV. Cocon Asia and calculations, measurement of work productivity using the Objectives Matrix (OMAX) method in the 2016-2017 production period, there was an increase and decrease in each period. Increased productivity occurred in periods 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,18 and 23 while the decline in productivity 17,19,20,21,22 and 24 the highest productivity occurred in period 9 which is September 2016 by 29.0% and the lowest decline occurred in the period to December 24, 2017 which is -18.2% This is due to the less than optimal use of working hours, the replacement of a number of new machines that use high electrical power and are influenced by raw wood materials that are not dry enough, causing the engine rotation to be heavy so that electricity consumption is also higher.
