Abstract

Motorcycle is a means of transportation that has many users because it is easy and practical in its use. In addition, motorcycles also have a more efficient value in the use of fuel consumption and are more agile when in traffic compared to cars. However, facing problems when a crime of theft or forced seizure of motorbikes is commonly referred to by the public as begal. In this study an additional system was designed as an anti-vehicle grabbing facility. This system uses Arduino as a control center equipped with GSM modules that function as SMS recipients sent via smartphones. Then, the smartphone functions as a remote control and the GPS module functions to show the coordinates of the device which are forwarded to Arduino to be sent to the motorcycle owner to find out where the vehicle is located. The test results show the system designed has been able to turn off, turn on and show the coordinates of the vehicle is located. Needed the time to turn off, turn on or provide a coordinate point of no more than 25 seconds. The tool designed has been able to show the coordinates the vehicle with accuracy rate of 2.44 meters. Keywords: u-blox NEO M8N GPS Module, GSM SIM900
