Abstract

Now the use of frequency generating devices is very important for the world of higher education,specifically the learning needs for experiments, in this case to find out sinusoidal and box waveforms. Therefore the frequency generator must have a good performance so that it can be utilized as much as possible.But the frequency generator equipment currently used is very limited in capacity, especially in the LAB STTA, the maximum capability is 100 MHz.Therefore this research wants to make a high frequency generator so that the device can be used if a high frequency generator is needed. In this study the tool used as the main material is ADF4351 as a frequency generator, Arduino Uno and LCD Keypad V1.0 as a control device, the software used is Arduino IDE, while the output waveform will be displayed in the Spectrum Analyzer.The waves produced by ADF4351 are only sinusoidal waves.The frequency produced by the ADF4351 is quite high, that is, from the frequency of 35 MHz - 4400 MHz, due to the tightness of the frequency measuring instruments tested only from 35 MHz - 2700 MHz. The results of data collection by looking at sinusoidal waves that are displayed by the Spectrum Analyzer, then the tool can work well in high frequency, if tested at low frequency the resulting frequency is different from the theory, the difference is 21.03% - 27.38%.
