Abstract

Fuel system is one of the systems on the plane that has function for supply fuel to APU and engine. In fuel system there is a part/component that has important function its called check valve thats work for make flow of fuel to be only one direction or to prevent reverse flow/back flow. Trouble that can happen on check valve is blocked, the blocke happen because there are the dung pile on check valve caused by fuel that contaminated by dung that affect to fuel flow be distrubed. To know the problem on check valve must doing adjustment/test on fuel booster pump by operated fuel boost pump on one of main tank. If there is a trouble it will know by see the anunnciator warning light on the overhead panel. The troubleshoot of blocked check valve is by flushing on the check valve through operation of fuel boost pump. It can doing by transfering fuel from tank to other tank until the dung on check valve clear
