Abstract

Students in carrying out studies in tertiary institutions are required to carry out the prerequisites to achieve bachelor degree (S1) by conducting research and compiling a final project report. the students have obtained when they are undertaking strata 1 (S1) courses, which is certainly based on the specified criteria. All of them are arranged using two Simple Additive Weighting and Weighted Product screening methods, from which the results of the two methods will be compared which method is more suitable to be used for these recommendations. The results of calculations using the WP method if averaged a value of 0.2154 which is still far from the maximum value of 1, whereas if the SAW method is averaged a value of 95.5236 where the results are close to the maximum value of 100. Based on the results of system testing it can be concluded that the system built is more suitable to use the SAW method to get accurate recommendations.
