Abstract

Aviation safety is an important element that must be implemented consistently and comprehensively in the aviation industry. Wrong one incident occurred at General Ahmad Yani International Airport, Semarang is an incident of damage to the engine blade due to a bird strike. Therefore It is necessary to assess Airport Safety Performance through Safety Management System SMS at General Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang. In this research, the methods used are correlation and regression. The aim of this research is to find out the measurement of safety correlation Magamenet System SMS and Air Traffic Guidance for Safety Flight. From the results of the research carried out, the Safety Management System is known X1 and Air Traffic Control X2 have an influence on Aviation Safety. The value obtained from the regression equation is a constant of 1.107, the b1 Safety Management System value of 0.597 and the b2 value Air Traffic Control of 0.706. Then the correlation value X1 is known namely calculated r is 0.632 and table r is 0.361 so the calculated r value is > r table, which means there is a strong correlation between the safety management system on aviation safety. The X2 correlation value is r calculated at 0.741 and r table is 0.361 so the calculated r value > r table, which means it exists There is a strong correlation between air traffic control and safety flight. Based on the results of the research analysis, the Safety Management variable System X1 and Air Traffic Control X2 have an impact significant for the Aviation Safety variable Y.
