Abstract

Modhis Boutique UMKM is one of the producers operating in the field fashion in making men's and women's clothing which accepts orders with large and small scale and types of ordered clothing that have been produced in Fashionable Boutique MSMEs include long dresses, shirts, skirts, trousers and so on others according to customer requests, and if market demand continues increases, production activities also increase and waste more and more are produced. In this research, the Value Engineering (Value Engineering) method is used Engineering) is one technique for controlling costs that can be done provide added value with the implementation steps of value engineering these are (1)Information Stage (2)Creative Stage (3)Analysis Stage (4)Stage Recommendations and reinforced with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) steps to choose one of the best regional potential alternatives for waste processing Yes, the steps for working on AHP are (1) Decomposition problem (2) Matrix preparation (3) Assessment/weighting to compare elements (4) Normalization(synthesis) of priorities and consistency tests and (5) Decision making/determination. From the results of the application of value engineering, there are 3 products that will be processed, namely Clothing products, Bedding Products, Plate Coasters Products and priority assessment on This research results in the final results regarding the selection of processing alternatives waste which is expected to increase added value to boutique MSMEs Modis has the highest priority weight, namely 0.347, for product processing Clothes, followed by Bedding Product Processing 0.306, and thirdly weight priority in processing coaster products with a value of 0.286. From processing these three products, Boutique MSMEs can utilize waste using Select various products that can be processed.
