Abstract

UKM Raja Craft is a manufacturing company that produces batik bags located on Jln. Bronto Honey No. 45 Patang Dozens, Wirobrajan, Special Region Yogyakarta. The aim of the research is to provide recommendations for improvements to planning raw material inventory using the material requirements planning method. That problem faced by the company is that it does not have a good raw material planning, namely It often happens that the arrangement and planning of raw materials is not well organized. In this research the data used is production data, orders and data inventory of each component. The results of the MRP calculation concluded that the total net requirements were needed to make batik bags in July - September 2019 is as much sponge 74295 cm², 30480 cm² of batik cloth, 48895 cm² of finil, 48895 cm² of furing cloth 30480 cm², 1143 D rings, 8890 m² small zippers, large zippers as much as 17780 m, small heads as many as 762 units, large heads as many as 762 units, 1778 units of hooks, 22860 grams of glue, 17085 m of thread, Handle as many as 1143 units, Furing as many as 1143 units, Body as many as 1143 units, Handle long 1016 units, short handle 1016 units, inner rim 1016 units, and external Rit as many as 889 units.
