Abstract

PT. Yasunli Abadi Utama Plastik is a company operating in the field of made from plastic which has various kinds of production machines working continuously continuously, causing the machine to breakdown when it is damaged while operating. Therefore, to reduce the occurrence of breakdown is needed optimal maintenance policies that can reduce the frequency of breakdowns thereby the machine can operate well. In this research, how is the application of treatment accompanied by failure? Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to solve this problem. Study focused on critical components that have high downtime, on the Valve component has a downtime of 1116 minutes, the Transducer component has a downtime of 1134 minutes and the Injection Pipe component has downtime of 1074 minutes. The results of the analysis of the maintenance time interval for the Valve component were 116 hours with an optimal inspection frequency of 1 month, for Injection Pipe components The maintenance interval is 88 hours with optimal inspection frequency during 2 months and for the Transducer component the maintenance interval is 111 hours with an optimal inspection frequency of 1 month.
