Abstract

Landing gear is one of the primary components found in aircraft and plays the most crucial role, just like the nose landing gear equipment of the T-33A aircraft in the ITDA laboratory. This is because every aircraft preparing for take off and landing must utilize landing gear; it's impossible for an aircraft to operate without it. As seen with the issues encountered in the nose landing gear equipment of the T 33A aircraft in the ITDA laboratory, specifically during the retract and extend process. Upon analysis of the nose landing gear equipment of the T-33A aircraft in the ITDA laboratory, several potential causes of the malfunction were identified. It was found that the leakage in the access connector actuator, actuator itself, and damage to the hydraulic pump resulted in an insufficient power supply to operate the actuator. To restore the functionality of the equipment and enable the retract and extend function of the nose landing gear on the T-33A aircraft in the ITDA laboratory, it's necessary to replace the damaged components. Following this, a cost estimation and timeframe for the replacement components need to be calculated.
