Abstract
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology continues to develop to meet human needs such as mapping. Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Skybeejo owned by CV Arcapada Raya is a type of fixed wing. However, it has a weakness, which requires a runway to take off and land. This cannot be applied if the mission is carried out in hilly areas or densely populated areas. This research aims to produce a Skybeejo VTOL UAV design and determine the value of lift that can lift the new MTOW value. The re-engineering process starts from determining DR&O, calculating the weight of all components to get the MTOW value, then determining the wing geometry by calculating the wing area, then modeling using CATIA and performing aerodynamic simulations. The new design of the wing is expected to provide lift used to lift the new MTOW of 7 kg, where the span length is 2.65 m and the chord is 0.3 m. Based on aerodynamic simulations, the lift generated by the wing is in accordance with what is needed to lift the new MTOW, therefore the Skybeejo VTOL UAV wing design can be used and the manufacturing process can be continued.
