Abstract

I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is the entrance to Bali by air. The number of domestic and international passengers has also started to increase from 2021 until now. The increase in the number of passengers after the COVID-19 pandemic has had a positive impact on I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. This research aims to predict the number of Domestic passengers and the number of International passengers at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali over the next 12 months. By using the ARIMA Box-jenins model and the Linear Regression model. These two models will be a comparison of accuracy and the best model. Data was obtained from reports from the Bali Province Central Statistics Agency in the time period January 2021 to July 2023. Taking the latest data from August-September 2023, the number of domestic passengers is 427,258 and 389,220 passengers and the number of international passengers is 581,494 and 542,458 passengers. It can be seen that the results from the Arima Box-jenkins model for the number of domestic passengers are 461,820 and 464,263 passengers. The number of international passengers is 509,511 and 565,128 passengers. Meanwhile, the results of the Linear Regression model for the number of Domestic passengers are 493,990 and 523,144 passengers. The number of international passengers is 454,123 and 467,126 passengers. It can be seen that the results of the Arima Boxjenkins model are closer to the results of the latest data and it is believed that the Arima Box-jenkins model is the best model
