Abstract

Based on the pitot probe 0851HT-1 Boeing 737-900ER removal data, 14 removal events were found on this component. One of the defects that occurs is "pitot light on". Therefore, the author will increase the optimization of the Pitot probe components by carrying out problem solving analysis using the RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) method, after which the results will be compared with research that has been carried out previously. Observing damage data, especially on the Pitot Probe component of the Boeing 737-900ER aircraft. The data observation process was carried out by grouping problems contained in the unscheduled component removal data on the Boeing 737-900ER aircraft. then carry out an analysis and provide appropriate treatment recommendations. The analysis carried out is in the form of quantitative RCM and qualitative RCM analysis. Maintenance recommendations can be known from the results of the calculations carried out. Based on the worksheet table that has been calculated, the highest RPN value is 126 in the failure mode "IAS AND ALT DISAGREE" with parameter values of severity 6, Occurance 7 and detection 3 where the aircraft can be operated but there is interference minor and some tools cannot be operated with the probability of failure being 1 in 20 and the chance of detection is high. After calculating the RPN values for eleven Boeing 737-900ER Pitot Probe failure data for the period January 2020 to November 2021, it can be concluded that of the eleven failure modes that occurred in the Static and Total Air Pressure System, they were in the low to high level category.
