Abstract

Detecting basic words in a sentence is an activity to find or search for basic words in a sentence whose basic word search process is from affixed words. The process of detecting basic words in a sentence at jomblangan state elementary school by getting results from a questionnaire test for grade 6 stedents then the results will be added up to get the results of the accuracy value of accuracy in detecting basic words. So we need s system that can help assess the results of the accuracy of detecting basic words in a sentence. The method used to detect basic words in a sentence is the Nazief & Adriani Algorithm stemming method. This Nazief & Adriani Algorithm stemming method can detect basic words in a sentence with good accuracy results in detecting basic words in a sentence. The accuracy rate of the Nazief & Adriani Algorithm stemming method is 98%. The use of the Nazief & Adriani Algorithm stemming method can solve the problem of detecting basic words in a sentence by eliminating, prefixes, insertions, and suffixes on each affixed word to get the expected results.
