Abstract

Lecturers' teaching and learning activities are sometimes prevented by meetings, outside services, and illness, so instead the lecturers hold replacement hours at other times. Finding a replacement schedule takes a long time because you have to cross-check all students' study plan card (KRS) and compare it with the lecturers of the supporting courses. So we need a method that can be followed by lecturers and students. Rule based algorithm is a computer program that processes information contained in working memory by using an inference engine to generate new information. The rule-based system approach is designed with 8 (eight) rule-based approaches to find replacement schedules for lecturers and students in the learning process in class. So that the proportion of success in finding a rule-based replacement schedule can reach 100% with the conditions of the students and lecturers supporting the course.
