Abstract

Avtur fuel supplies in flight operations are very important, DPPU YIA as an avtur fuel supplier must certainly plan an optimal inventory policy. The optimal avtur distribution process will have an impact on the smooth running of flight operations and the efficiency of costs incurred by DPPU YIA. This study uses the Economic Order quantity method to determine the number of efficient ordering quantities and reduce inventory costs. Before calculating EOQ, avtur demand forecasting is carried out using the linear regression method and continued by calculating safety stock so as not to stock out or run out of stock. Based on the results of research and discussion using the Economic Order Quantity method from January to March 2023, the avtur forecast results are 3,284,311.394 - 3,352,718.387 liters, the average economic order is 543,114.97 liters, Reorder Point of 108,062 - 109,182.308 liters, safety stock of 572,466 liters, and a decrease in Total Cost of 0.68% - 0.67%.
