Abstract
Maintenance is a group of activities to keep facilities or equipment in a serviceable. Maintenance is carried out to maintain reliability and ensure air transportation facilities function properly. In addition, with routine and regular maintenance, it can minimize maintenance costs which are quite large in aircraft maintenance. In the C-Check maintenance planning process, of course, it is necessary to calculate the Turn Around Time (TAT) to maximize work within a certain period of time. TAT calculation is one of the references for airlines in determining vendors or maintenance executors who are able to carry out work in the shortest possible time. Calculation of the TAT value using the Critical Path Method (CPM) which aims to maximize work and labor so as to obtain the minimum TAT value possible. The CPM method or known as the Critical Path Method is a method that has a path consisting of a series of activity components with the longest total amount of time and shows the fastest period of work completion. In this study, it is known that the critical path of the activity is on the job with the code A-H-H1-H2-H6-H7-R with the total time required, namely: 341.66 Hours or 42.71 calendar days. Planning analysis with the CPM method obtained more efficient results of 5.46 days.
