Abstract

Tourism is one of the recreational and entertainment activities that can been joyed and carried out by individuals or groups of people, and for a tourism manager is a source of income for those in Giri suko Village, a descendant of Panggang subdistrict, Gunung kidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. By offering a tour located on Roso Wulan hill. With the information on Roso Wulan hill tourism, it can help the manager introduce a tourist attraction. Especially since the pandemic so that it can help promote tourism. Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that is currently popular and developing and involves over laying computer graphics on the real world, where a 3-dimensional virtual world can be brought into a real environment. For this reason, by utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) as a tool for tourism promotion on Roso Wulan hill to the general public by introducing existing tourist objects. An image on a logo that can be scanned by using an Augmented Reality (AR) camera which can call a tourist attraction Roso Wulan hill. With the help of the Blender application for modeling animated objects and for making Augmented Reality applications using the Unity application. The results for the application test given were 30 respondents and calculations using a Likert scale showed that 80.26% had very good point intervals. This application can run very well with a minimum version of Android 8 or Android Oreo.
