Abstract

Jet engine is one of important part of aeroplane. In the learning process of airplane component there is still difficulty to understand about the air flow of Jet engine. Animated video is created as the education and knowledge tools which is simulated using arrows based on the colour. There are some processes on creating this animation video. The first process of this modelling animation is creating gear rotation on jet engine using 3Dsmax application. As the complentary of this animation video, there is a fire effect that is created using Adobe After Effects. Finally, as the last but not the least, editing process using Camtasia Studio that has purpose to produce interesting jet engine video animation. Based on the questionnaire results it can be summed up that 3D Animation from jet engine air flow on desktop base was good.
