Abstract

Public transportation is one of the needs of the community that continues to grow in line with the increasing standard of living of the community's economy. For this reason, a means of transportation is needed that is more numerous and can meet the needs of the community for safe and fast transportation accompanied by adequate services. With the increasing development of technology that has an impact on the progress of the aviation industry, it also demands progress in its supporting factors. Where the supporting factors of the aviation industry are the need for facilities and infrastructure that have an effect, both directly and indirectly, on the aviation industry. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out forecasting and predictions to find out what factors have the most influence, what percentage of potential and how much influence the independent variables have on passenger movements in the future which refer to the socio-economic movements of the area. To find out what factors influence the movement of passengers, we can use the linear regression method with supporting data of 11 socio-economic factors including hotels, tourist attractions, tourists, companies, company workers, hospital rooms, students, road length, markets, gross regional domestic product (GRDP) using SPSS software. The results of the study showed that there was the most positive and significant influence on the pull movement, namely the movement of company workers on passenger movements at Adi Sumarmo International Airport, Surakarta with a potential of 87.4%, the magnitude of the influence was 76.4%. For the generation movement, there was the most positive and significant influence on the movement of company workers on passenger movements at Adi Sumarmo International Airport, Surakarta with a potential of 89.4%, the magnitude of the influence was 79.8%. The more workers there are in the area, the more passenger movements at Adi Sumarmo International Airport, Surakarta will increase.
