Abstract

Airport Rescue And Fire Fighting (ARFF) readiness and preparedness is the most important thing in aviation accident prevention, with the aim of preventing and reducing losses, especially casualties. Based on the General Air Transportation Regulation KP Number 14 of 2015, every airport is required to provide and provide ARFF services in accordance with the required airport ARFF categories. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis of the results of the method of observation, literature study and data collection from emergency management planning, operational equipment and vehicle facilities owned by the ARFF Adi Soemarmo International Airport, Surakarta. The ability of ARFF Adi Soemarmo International Airport to meet the standard requirements specified by Category 8. This can be seen from the calculation of the minimum number of personnel, namely 45 personnel, where ARFF Adi Soemarmo International Airport personnel are currently number 66 (Senior 16, Junior 0 , Basic 50, Non license 0). the number of main vehicles is 3 units, and 6 support units. Supporting Facilities totaled 194 and Reserve Facilities amounted to 380 but there are still a number of equipment deficiencies required in accordance with the minimum limit of Transportation Regulation KP Number 14 of 2015. Another aspect that affects the level of readiness with the results of the Response Time test is that the average response time achievement in the last 10 months is 119.45 seconds, and the average percentage of time for achieving the target response time is 133.64%.
