Abstract

Flight controls are the main control systems that help pilots control aircraft when moving in the air. He encountered malfunction in the implementation of flight control functional tests on the elevator control system. After malfunction has been identified, troubleshooting the movement mechanism of the elevator control system installation is done. Found incorrect installation of cables in the sector torque tube L / H assembly. Cable re-installation was carried out and tension measurements were carried out at a temperature of 28 ° C which was set at ambient temperature and the tension regulator point that paid attention to the upper to lower limit was also paired with the aircraft maintenance manual (AMM) applicable. After not finding an malfunction again and the tension has been obtained and then carried out the test, the elevator control system has worked properly
