Abstract
A flight must be planned, planning routes either flying, flight planning planning and calculation of aircraft fuel. The operator's flight as a commercial company has 2 orientation the purpose that is revenue/profit and salvation. Planning is good then fly flight operations will be optimized. However found several airlines including Sriwijaya Air flight flying altitude varies on the same route of Yogyakarta's Adisutjipto international airport. The purpose of this research is to figure out how to make the planning of the optimal flying, and also the optimal flight level for a flight, a Boeing 737-800NG and Boeing 737-900ER to produce an efficient flight operations. Analysis of fuel use is done gradually starting from the estimate calculate takeoff weight, distance flights, estimate fuel burn, and comparison actual fuel burn with planning fuel burn. Use the manual calculation method and formula of the fppm interpolation. From the stage of the analysis already described can be known for planning the optimal flight level Boeing 737-800NG on flight level 35000 36000 feet and feet, while for Boeing 737-900ER at flight level 34000 feet and 35000 feet.
