Abstract

Sasak Tribe Traditional House is a symbol of a civilization, especially people who live in Central Lombok, functions as a place to live and perform activities such as sleeping, cooking, giving birth and weaving. space, materials and types that occur due to changing times and contamination of the construction of modern houses around the Sasak tribe settlement. To maintain the value and form and function of traditional houses, it is necessary to have a media to help the community in maintaining, knowing the values, functions and forms of the Central Lombok Sasak Traditional House as in ancient times. One interesting media that can provide knowledge and provide something new in the form of visualization of 3D animation. In this research, Central Lombok Sasak Traditional House uses the method of library research. The data sources used are primary and secondary data from the community around Sade Hamlet, Rembitan Village, Central Lombok Tourism Office and Central Lombok Library and Filing Service. Based on data analysis and questionnaires, the results show that the Sasak Traditional House needs to be developed in the form of visual media that is more attractive and able to be an attraction for the people of Central Lombok to know and maintain ancestral heritage values. Application Testing Results using a questionnaire with 30 general public correspondents with a success rate using the Guttmann scale calculation approaching in accordance with the percentage of 90.6%.
