Abstract

Giwangan market is the main fruit and vegetable market, this market is the only main market that operates 24 hours non-stop. Activity The highest in this market is seen in the afternoon until just before dawn, when The flow of goods supply from farmers or traders is at its maximum point. In this research, market restructuring was carried out using an approach simulation in promodel 4.2 software. An initial simulation was run to see vehicle activity around the hangar of the Giwangan market which can be carried out loading and unloading process. In the initial simulation based on the data obtained, The number of vehicles entering the gigangan market is set at 168 vehicles, but from the initial simulation results, vehicles can exit the stud market only 164 vehicles. There are 4 vehicles that are blocked or vehicles that are unable to carry out the loading and unloading process. Based on the research results, alternative proposal 2 was obtained with an average value of hangar utility percentage of 16.13% with the total number of vehicles used. in and out of 168 units. Proposed alternative 2 is an alternative an effective proposal to be realized, namely by moving everything vegetable trader located north of the hangar to a new location (RPH).
