Abstract
Regarding the use of electricity that cannot be controlled, it is necessary to add monitoring of the use of electric power with the aim of this monitoring system to increase energy efficiency, save costs, and prevent technical disturbances. This measuring instrument is made using an ESP32 microcontroller as the main function for processing data, then the PZEM-004T sensor functions to measure electrical power parameters such as voltage, current, power, power factor and electrical energy consumption. The data collected by the PZEM-004T sensor is then processed by the ESP32 to ensure measurement accuracy and consistency. After data processing, the ESP32 uses a wifi connection to transfer the measurement results to the Ubidots platform. The internet of things-based electric power monitoring measuring instrument can be made well and displays the results of electrical parameter values in the form of voltage, current, power, frequency, power factor, electrical energy consumption and estimated costs to be paid. The electric power monitoring measuring instrument has the effectiveness for accurate and efficient monitoring The percentage of accuracy value of the prototype electric power monitoring system and standard measuring instruments includes: voltage 98,48%, current 99,83%, active power 96,19%, power factor 99,07%, and electrical energy consumption 99.98%. the results of calculations carried out with the installed power kWh meter 6600 VA in group B-2 / TR obtained the amount of energy consumption of 16.98 kWh and estimated payment of Rp 676.717,- Monitoring electrical power in airport lounges is an important thing to do. This is because the airport lounge is a place that is visited by many people. Therefore, the availability of adequate and stable electricity is an absolute must.
