Abstract
The 021 Technical Squadron is an implementing unit under the ranks of Halim Perdana Kusuma Air Base which has the task of carrying out medium-level maintenance of the Main Weapon System Equipment (airplane) and its components, especially the medium-level maintenance of the CN-235M, CN- 295M, B 737-400/500 and C-130 H/HS/L-100-30 which is organized in a systematic, planned, integrated and continuous manner, the aircraft can be supported optimally as planned. In the medium level maintenance of Boeing 737 aircraft that can be carried out at the 021 Engineering Squadron in the form of C - Check maintenance. To maintain the maintenance of the Boeing 737 aircraft, a C- Check must be carried out, where the need for supporting components such as spare parts, expendable items, special products and consumable items is very necessary, so it is necessary to calculate material requirements for aircraft maintenance in the future. Moving Average is a calculation that is often used to make an estimate or forecast in the future. This method is divided into several parts, one of which is the simple moving average (SMA) method. The Simple Moving Average is a branch of the moving average forecasting method. To describe this procedure, the term moving average is used because each time a new value observation appears, the new average value can be calculated by removing the oldest observation value and entering the new observation value and using forecasting accuracy, namely the mean absolute percentage error. The results of the calculation of the use of C-Check maintenance materials based on the implementation schedule for the Boeing 737-400 aircraft No. Reg. A- 7306 which is listed in the maintenance implementation and the results of forecasting calculations for C-Check material in 2022 and 2023 using the simple moving average method get an analysis of material usage in the following year accompanied by the accuracy of the forecast material forecast.
