Abstract
One of the parameters that affect engine performance is the oil system. The importance of the role of the oil system on the engine so that the engine is able to work optimally. If there is a failure, the lubrication will be reduced and the oil flow will not be smooth, this can result in an increase in oil temperature so that there is continuous wear and tear on the gear and bearing components at high engine speed and causes parts that require lubrication to not get a good oil supply and engine work is not optimal and endangers flight safety. The analysis that appears at High Oil Temperature is based on observations and information obtained from field instructors. In addition to using the observation method, this study also uses the Fault Tree Analysis method to find the cause of the High Oil Temperature Trouble. After knowing the trouble, the inspection and troubleshooting process is carried out to resolve and overcome these troubles. Perform troubleshooting inspections Based on Ref. T.O. 1 T-KT1B-22 REV. A, page 5-121-122) regarding high oil temperature, and it was found that the caused the high oil temperature was the reduced amount of pressurized oil supply caused by the oil filter component being choked.
