Abstract

System requirements for data processing become an important thing in a company or agency. Success in processing data into information requires a system that supports it. As a company runs, the amount of data that is processed is of course very large so it requires large storage capacity. The problem that often occurs is data redundancy. Data redundancy is a condition where the same data is stored repeatedly in one database table. This causes a waste of data storage. This problem also occurs in the customer data storage system at the Yogyakarta Center for Leather, Rubber and Plastics. The existence of a data processing system application that helps overcome data redundancy. In application testing, the overall functionality of the application is tested. From the results of testing the application functionality, good results were obtained because all the features to overcome the redundancy problem were running well.
