Abstract

Increasingly advanced technology can help students to solve problems. But students have difficulty finding thesis topics. With the application of Determining Thesis Topics Using the Naïve Bayes Method, it can make it easier for students to find thesis topics that can be a reference in preparing the thesis. Making this application uses the Naïve Bayes method to study probabilities in certain groups/classes. trying to identify. The programming languages used are PHP and HTML. The purpose of this research is to quickly determine the topic of the thesis based on the synopsis included in the application. The results of the research show that the Naïve Bayes method is more accurate in classifying objects. Thus, this method is very suitable for classifying in any field, including in this study regarding the classification of student thesis topics.
