Abstract

ED ALUMINUM Company is a company that produces household furniture in the form of kitchen utensils such as aluminum pans, aluminum pots and aluminum dressings. but lately ED ALUMINUM often experiences delays from the predetermined schedule in meeting the increasing needs of its consumers. The purpose of this study is to find out how much standard time it takes employees to complete the process of making a size 12 pan, size 14 pan and size 16 pan and to determine production capacity for the next 6 months at the ED ALUMINUM YOGYAKARTA Company. In this study, the method used is time study and Simple Average. Where is the Time Study to find out the employee's working time and the Simple Average to determine the amount of demand capacity for the next 6 months. The average standard time obtained is based on the Time Study calculation for the process of making the three products, namely where for a size 12 pan the standard time required is 2820 seconds, the standard time for the process of making a size 14 pan is 2873.9 seconds and the standard time for the process of making a size 16 pan of 2909.9, the total production capacity for the next 6 months for the three products is based on forecasting using the Simple average where for a size 12 pan the number of requests is 16140 while the production amount is 9078, for a size 14 pan the number of requests is 14454 while the total production is 8451 and for a size 16 pan the number of requests is 10506 while the total production is 7128.
