Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is a field of computer research that incorporates graphical data3-dimensions (3D) with the real world or in other words reality added to a medium. This media can be in the form of paper, a marker or a marker through certain input devices.Use of AR technology expected to display a visual pfd buoy. Making an Android-based PFD float AR is using an application to make it using blender 3D,unity 3D, C# programming languages and corel draw . Then, PFD is a buoy or the main safety equipment in rafting activities.Personal Floating Device made of material polyfoam which is wrapped in a light-colored waterproof material. Meanwhile, Zna Streamside is a brand name for a buoy production house in Yogyakarta and was established in 2013. Based on this description, the authors developed a software entitled 3D model recognition application for PFD buoys for rafting enthusiasts using AR technology which is expected to provide information about buoys and help develop buoy sales so that consumers or activists can choose the types of PFD buoys as desired.
