Abstract

In the modern era, especially in Indonesia, model aircraft are increasingly in demand and developed. It is very important for us to know how the performance or flight achievements of the model aircraft are while flying in the air. Calculation of the aircraft performance value is very necessary to determine the capabilities of each aircraft. To determine the performance of the Swayasa Scout-01 Electric Engine model aircraft, it is necessary to calculate its flight performance. This study aims to calculate the flight performance of the Swayasa Scout-01 Electric Engine model aircraft in the form of range and flight time (endurance). This study was conducted through a direct observation method with input of supporting parameter data such as aircraft configuration, engine specification data, batteries, propellers and several assumptions when the aircraft is in Steady State Level Flight conditions using the Brequet equation. After the calculation, with one flight test, it can be seen that the aircraft's range is 14,886.5348 m or 14.887 km. Meanwhile, the flight time (endurance) of the aircraft was 2,037.54 s or 33.96 minutes.
