Abstract

Mini jet engine Mk.1 is a mini-sized jet engine, where this engine is usually applied in model aircraft but in this thesis the author uses it for educational purposes. Where this engine operates statically on ground. The purpose of this thesis is to find out the results of the design using CATIA software and apply the design into the manual manufacturing process and calculate the performance of the turbine mini jet engine Mk.1. After all the engine spare parts are finished, the next step that will be taken is to assemble all the spare parts that have been made into a mini jet engine, then after the engine is assembled a test will be carried out, where the test is used to find out the results of the manufacture and calculate the thrust distribution. The manufacture of spare parts for the turbine mini jet engine mk-1 can be assembled properly and correctly using CATIA software, so that there is no clash and contact on the spare parts with other spare parts. The manufacture of spare parts designed from CATIA can be done manually by referring to the Mall that has been made beforehand, this makes it easier for researchers during the manufacturing process, so that after the spare part is finished, the performance produced by the turbine can be calculated using the Thrust Distribution calculation where the result of the Thrust Distribution calculation on the turbine is 251.2722 N with the direction of force to the rear.
